Cancellation policy

1. Ordering Overview

Chef In De Box prepares fresh, ready-to-eat meals each week. Orders can be placed directly through our online store and must be completed before the weekly order cut-off time.
All meals are cooked fresh every Sunday morning and delivered that same Sunday afternoon.

2. Order Cut-Off

To ensure ingredient freshness and efficient kitchen scheduling:

  • Orders must be placed by Thursday at 12 PM for Sunday delivery.

  • Orders placed after this cut-off will be automatically scheduled for delivery the following week.

3. Changing or Cancelling an Order

If you need to change or cancel your order:

  • You can make changes or cancel any time before Thursday 12 PM by contacting us at hello@chefindebox.com.au.

  • After Thursday 12 PM, we begin sourcing ingredients and preparing meals, so we cannot cancel, refund, or modify orders after this point.

4. Missed Deliveries or Incorrect Details

Please ensure your delivery address and contact information are correct at checkout.
If no one is available to receive the order, it will be left in a safe location. Chef In De Box is not responsible for spoilage, theft, or loss once delivery is complete.

5. Recurring or Subscription Orders (if applicable)

If you subscribe to a recurring meal plan:

  • You may pause, skip, or cancel your subscription any time before the Thursday 12 PM cut-off for the upcoming week.

  • After the cut-off, your order for that week will proceed as scheduled.

6. Refunds

Due to the fresh and perishable nature of our meals, refunds are not available once the weekly preparation process has begun.
