Shipping policy
1. Delivery Area
Chef In De Box currently offers delivery within Sydney, NSW only.
Orders placed for addresses outside our delivery zone will be automatically cancelled and refunded.
We are continuously reviewing our delivery network and may expand to new suburbs in the future.
2. Delivery Schedule
All meals are cooked fresh every Sunday morning and delivered that same Sunday afternoon.
We do not deliver on weekdays or public holidays.
You’ll receive a confirmation email once your order has been placed, followed by a delivery notification on the day of delivery.
3. Delivery Fees

Free delivery applies to all orders of 6 or more meals within 6 km of Newtown.

Orders under 6 meals or outside the free-delivery radius may incur a small delivery fee, calculated at checkout.
4. Delivery Instructions
Please ensure accurate delivery details are provided at checkout.
If you are not home at the time of delivery, your order will be left in a safe location at your address. Chef In De Box is not responsible for any loss, spoilage, or damage once the meals have been delivered and left unattended.
If you live in a secured building, please provide access details or contact us in advance to ensure successful delivery.
5. Pick-Up Options
Pick-up is available upon request from our Newtown location.
Pick-up time slots are provided at checkout or confirmed by email once your order is ready.
6. Order Cut-Off Times
Orders must be placed by Thursday 12 PM each week for Sunday delivery.
Orders received after the cut-off will be automatically scheduled for the following week.
7. Delays and Delivery Issues
While we strive to deliver on time, unforeseen circumstances such as traffic, weather, or kitchen delays may occasionally affect delivery times.
If your order is significantly delayed, we will contact you as soon as possible.
